It’s a sad indictment on mankind that a guide book would be a necessity nowadays to survive the health system - I’m sure the odds of surviving the allopathic medicine industry are greatly increased by reading your book. It’s certainly a miracle I survived without one. There were many close calls.
No placebo comparisons have ever been made with any psych drug so they are proven ineffective because if they worked, they would have been properly studied. The violence, depersonalization, increased mortality, and social dysfunction HAVE been studied and are well-known effects of these drugs. The psychiatrists preside over this fraudulent but profitable eugenic mess and the drug companies are ringleaders in the racketeering.
Overactive adrenal gland problems are always incorrectly diagnosed as a 'mental illness' when it's nothing of the sort. This has been my experience since excessive exposure to DDT early '80's damaged several organs. Gall bladder's gone long ago, kidney stones, Diabetes II, and liver cirrhosis lesions diagnosed cancerous 3 years ago. Since then I've gone the environmental way, avoiding the chemo-rado-scalpel trinity, shrinking one tumor to less than half, and the other has disappeared altogether. Diet, herbals - and understanding, have done more for the ephedrine problem than any SSRI's or the like. Anyone here have experience with Effexor? Venlafaxin? Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to contribute.
Yes, I was put on Effexor/Venlafaxine years ago, had only been taking it for ten days, when I missed a day, and was in the deepest darkest hole immediately, decided that was some scary toxic shit, and immediately took myself off of it, was the best thing I ever did. Then a couple of years later stumbled across a group, that were all talking about the massive problems they had had with it, and also when they changed to the cheaper generic version that was also causing massive problems. Utter psychopaths!!!
They seem to use mental illness whenever other specialties have failed at finding the actual problem in order to process the patient out of the healthcare system. They assume that if a patient has reached them, it means they are definitely mentally ill and it’s just a matter of deciding which mental illness to diagnose the patient with. In New Zealand it’s become a tool to lower demand for healthcare. There was an article in the nz media about NZ psychiatrists being morally injured for misdiagnosing people but they seemed to be making the excuse that it’s the fault of every other specialty that the patient was sent to them for a mental illness diagnosis in the first place.
Greetings . Great post . I belong to a group called Psychiatry Redefined , looking to use alternative and natural means instead of Rx. At least they are attempting to move in a good direction . Look them up !
I just looked up Psychiatry Redefined. I saw it said this “We train mental health providers to resolve the root causes of mental illness so you can deliver lasting relief to your patients.”
So does that mean they investigate neurotoxicity as a cause of their symptoms? I do hope so, because if they don’t then they are no different than the current way of practising
I believe they do . One lecture I remember the comment about Drs just giving Rx . Without looking at the context . There was even discussion about detox . Young group but they are trying to learn . Btw, hundreds were present at last conference !
If that’s indeed the case then you’ve made my day Tamara. There is hope after all. I wish them all the success in the world because it’s also the mental health of psychiatrists and drs that must be considered. Finding out that you’ve misdiagnosed people and put them on inappropriate medication when they were actually having a neurotoxic reaction cannot be good for the soul. And it does show in their soul. It stands out like dogs balls
I agree there is a place for psychiatry. But certainly not how they have been used to deny reality and deny physical illness.
If they don’t allow environmental medicine drs like neuro-toxicologists in to their realm of explaining human behaviour and ditch their mental illness delusion then they will become no different to the psychiatrists in hitlers regime and will eventually be run out of town
