This brings back memories...

I once travelled from Europe to California, paid a head&neck surgeon in cash to cut a nerve. It saved my live.

If surgery is not available to you, maybe managing the inflammation could make it bearable? I am planning to write something about my low inflammation diet when I can find the time and energy to do so.

Wish you all the best.

Omg, I’m sorry to hear this. I broke my back in 2013 and the doctor wanted to cement my crushed vertebra like it was a normal proven procedure. I decided to wait it out and healed reasonably well without surgery.

When I heard a couple years later that the procedure had been discontinued I felt an enormous amount of rage towards the doctor. I felt grief for the poor people who had trusted him. I pray that you find someone to correct this medical malpractice for you 🙏

Thank you. I found out from the supplier that the cement had been withdrawn from use in New Zealand when it was put in me, and that it should never be used to fill a hole in bone as it expands when it cures. I don’t expect I’ll find a neurosurgeon anywhere to help as it’s a risky operation and there is too much low hanging fruit for them to choose instead.

you need to mention that it is radiolucent and thus can be localized

I am so sorry you are dealing with this, but how fortunate you are to have figured it out.

Are you on Twitter? If so, what's your handle? OK if I copy most of this and share it on Twitter?

Please do copy it to twitter. My Twitter handle is Healthcare, not Medicine
